As part of the TSN Marketing team, and working with the various internal departments, this position will manage the execution of integrated marketing campaigns for key TSN properties including strategic media and creative development. This role will be instrumental in all aspects of the TSN brand including brand building, audience growth and revenue generation opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute marketing integrated campaigns across an array of marketing channels to achieve awareness, engagement, viewership and acquisition targets for various TSN properties
  • Work closely with internal departments (programming, communications, production, digital, creative) and external partners, on the planning and execution of campaign elements to ensure deadlines are met and within assigned budgets.
  • Responsible for leveraging measurement and evaluation tools to report the success of marketing campaigns with key Bell Media stakeholders.
  • Work with the internal Bell Media insights teams to deliver research and learnings that will foster brand, audience and interactive growth across the TSN business.
  • Day-to-day marketing contact with TSN rights holders to execute promotional requirements.
  • Manage the creation/delivery of promotional/advertising materials secured through contractual broadcast relationships and paid corporate partnerships.
  • Work with the internal distribution marketing team to develop and execute strategic campaigns supporting TSN brand management, subscriber acquisition, CSR training campaigns.
  • Conduct frequent analysis on campaign/program performance to optimize efforts for the most efficient marketing mix, better understand our customers and our competitive positioning and to achieve KPI’s
  • Monitor and report on ongoing industry marketing activity and best practices.
  • Overall brand protection for TSN including TSN.ca, TSN App, TSN Direct and TSN social networks.
  • Work with the Senior Manager of Marketing on marketing budgets and expenses aligned with this portfolio.
  • Other marketing duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Strong sports fandom accompanied by a passion for sports marketing and fan engagement.
  • Expertise in digital marketing industry trends, competition and customer buying habits through various channels such as Google, GDN, Discovery, Bing, YouTube, Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and TikTok
  • Strong understanding of product development lifecycles and processes
  • Exceptional analytical, communication and presentation skills; strong focus on ROI
  • Experience with data and customer segmentation as the basis for discovering actionable insights.
  • A desire to bring innovative thinking around the importance how of digital platforms and strategy play an important role in overall growth of the TSN brand and priority properties.
  • 3-5 years marketing experience with a proven track-record of brand planning, audience segmentation and campaign implementation.
  • University/post-secondary education preferred with emphasis on Marketing/Digital Media.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and experience managing creative teams through strategic campaign development and execution.
  • Connection with current and upcoming trends, as well as emerging technology and the competitive landscape.
  • Bilingualism (English and French), considered a very strong asset
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders, as well as initiate and drive change
  • Highly energetic team player with the ability to work collaboratively within the Marketing team and cross-functionally with other key stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to adapt to a demanding, rapidly changing work environment, set priorities and meet tight deadlines

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.

Key Accountabilities:

Drive sales & profit

Manage the back end of Omnichannel sales capabilities, beginning with RFID, Ship-From-Store, Click and Collect and Endless Aisle, etc.

Balance demand versus capacity for omnichannel fulfillment in Retail stores, acting in response to the needs of the business to maximize sell-through and consumer satisfaction.

Grow sales through a service culture

Fully grounded in the Connect Engage Inspire Service model and Every Moment Matters toolset and understand how they enable service in our Retail environments.

Integrate with the Retail Operations and Field Leadership to ensure digital is incorporated seamlessly into the daily rhythm of the stores.

Report regularly to the Retail & Digital teams on the performance of digital sales initiatives, including insights on execution and opportunities for improvement.

Deliver flawless execution

Responsible for monitoring the performance, development, health, and maintenance of RFID and Digital Tool implementation & communication plans related to omni-Retail initiatives, ensuring execution in coordination with Business Leaders.

Serve as the business owner of RFID which includes the ongoing operations of the system and hardware solution.

Identify opportunities for improvement in process, training, and tools to generate solutions that will enhance consumer experience, grow profitability, or improve efficiency.

Actively engage with NAM and Global partners to ensure that the Canadian market is always aligned to best practices.

Deliver brand & product experiences

Act as the advocate for digital service offerings in the go-to-market (GTM) process, enhancing the value of product launches, seasonal blockbusters, new retail/digital concepts.

Deliver new, incremental functionality to the channels in partnership with the Business Development Team, and act as the Canadian advocate for enhancements to existing platforms.

Consult with Marketing, Merchandising and Store Operations to shape the execution of consumer engagement activations, promotions, and projects.

A subject matter expert and mentor to the Retail Team for digital and Omnichannel topics.

An ambassador and advocate for Retail among local and Global digital teams.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

Extensive experience, knowledge and understanding of retail process, consumer experience and end-to-end operations
