Job Description

Position: Mental Health Technician

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40,000 – $50,000 per year

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Technician to join our team at a mental health facility in Colorado Springs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health care and a passion for helping individuals struggling with mental illness.

Responsibilities:

– Assist in assessing and monitoring the mental health of clients
– Provide direct care and support to clients in a safe and therapeutic environment
– Collaborate with other members of the treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans
– Facilitate group therapy sessions and other therapeutic activities
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and treatment plans
– Ensure the safety and well-being of all clients at all times

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field
– Previous experience working in a mental health facility or similar setting
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Knowledge of mental health treatment modalities and interventions
