This internship starts in January 2024 and the selected candidate will be responsible for following all safety protocols.
Title: Quality Manager

Location: Rotherham

Salary: £35000 – £40000 per annum

Sector: Engineering

The Role:

As a Quality Manager, your role will involve ensuring that customer requirements and standards are met through the effective management and control of the quality management system. You will be responsible for managing a small team and will have the opportunity to implement change and improvements throughout the business.

Responsibilities:

– Establish, implement and maintain the QMS in accordance with ISO 9001
– Manage the quality team, ensuring they are performing to the required standard
– Set and maintain departmental objectives, targets and KPI’s
– Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations
– Investigate and resolve any customer complaints or non-conformances
– Lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the business
– Develop and implement quality procedures and work instructions as required
– Provide training and support to employees on quality matters

Requirements:

– Experience of working in a quality management role within an engineering or manufacturing environment
– Strong knowledge of ISO 9001
– Proven experience of managing and developing a quality team
– Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
– Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
– Experience of working with suppliers and customers to resolve quality issues
