Learn more about SOCAN’s commitment to .ABOUT THE ROLEThe role of Licensing Royalty Allocation Intern on the Royalty Collections team is responsible for entry and validation of media licensing reports.WHAT YOU’LL DO / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review media licensing reports received for completeness and accuracy
  • Enter media licensing reports
  • Validate license fee calculation
  • Coordinate activities with Account Managers in Royalty Collections
  • Proactively advise team lead of potential processing and efficiency improvements.
  • Other duties, as required

WHAT YOU WILL BRING / QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Graduated / Enrolled in Finance, Business Administration, Music Business or related programs
  • Attention to detail
  • Interest in financial data
  • Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and ability to multi-task
  • Bilingual in French and English (an asset)

Position: Receptionist

Location: Riverside, CA

We are seeking a reliable and friendly Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our company, you will greet visitors, answer phone calls, and provide general administrative support.

Responsibilities:
– Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
– Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
– Manage incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and faxes
– Schedule appointments and maintain office calendar
– Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
– Maintain a clean and organized reception area

Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
