Our client, a well-established construction company, is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects in the Toronto area. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing various construction projects from start to finish. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent project management abilities, and a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
– Manage all phases of the construction project, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
– Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the construction process, from initial planning to project completion
– Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other team members to ensure project success
– Monitor project progress, quality control, and safety compliance
– Manage project budgets and ensure projects are completed within the agreed-upon timeframe and budget
– Conduct regular site visits to ensure performance and progress meet company standards
– Communicate effectively with all stakeholders and provide regular project updates
– Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process
– Ensure all project documentation and reports are accurate and up-to-date
– Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality assurance
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
– Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction project management
– Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects
– Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
– Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
– Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite
– PMP or other project management certifications are an asset
