Job Title: Compliance Review Specialist – Marketing and Advertising

Job Summary:

The Compliance Review Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that all marketing, advertising, and digital media initiatives adhere to state and federal laws, as well as third-party guidelines. This position involves a thorough review of creative materials and consumer-facing communications produced by the marketing and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of marketing materials, including print, digital, and promotional content.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with advertising regulations and standards.
• Analyze and interpret state and federal laws related to marketing and advertising practices.
• Identify potential compliance issues and work proactively with marketing teams to mitigate risks.
• Provide guidance and training to marketing and sales personnel on compliance best practices.
• Stay updated on changes in regulations and industry standards affecting advertising and marketing.
• Maintain accurate documentation of compliance reviews and communications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Law, or a related field.
• Proven experience in compliance, legal review, or regulatory affairs, preferably in a marketing or advertising context.
• Strong understanding of advertising laws and standards, including digital media regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex compliance information clearly.
