Medical Assistant

We are looking for a skilled Medical Assistant to support our healthcare team in providing high-quality patient care. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting healthcare providers in delivering medical care to patients and maintain efficient office operations.

Key Responsibilities:
– Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments
– Obtain and record patient vital signs and medical history
– Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers
– Collect and prepare laboratory specimens
– Perform basic laboratory tests
– Handle patient inquiries and concerns in a professional manner
– Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in examination rooms and other patient care areas
– Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records
– Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and protocols

Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
– Current certification as a Medical Assistant
– 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
– Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
– Proficient computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records
