Sales Associate

Job description

Overview:
The Sales Associate is responsible for assisting customers, meeting sales goals, and providing an exceptional customer experience. This role involves working closely with customers to determine their needs, answer questions, and recommend the right products and services. The Sales Associate also performs tasks such as processing transactions, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities:
– Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
– Understand and respond to customer inquiries about products and services
– Recommend products and services based on customer needs and preferences
– Process customer transactions including cash, credit, and debit payments
– Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves and cleaning as needed
– Meet and exceed sales goals through product knowledge, upselling, and customer engagement
– Stay informed about product features and benefits, promotions, and store policies
– Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive customer experience
– Complete other tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Previous retail sales experience is a plus
– Strong communication and customer service skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
– Basic math skills for processing transactions
– Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods
– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
– Positive and proactive attitude
