Job Description
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing data to inform business decisions, identifying trends, and creating visualizations to present findings to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with teams across the organization to gather and analyze data
– Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
– Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports
– Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
– Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders
– Identify trends and patterns in data sets
– Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs
– Continuously monitor and audit data quality
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or related field
– Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
– Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques
– Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks)
– Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.)
– Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
– Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings
– Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills
