Job Description
MECHANICAL ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Our client, a world-renowned manufacturing company, is actively seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their team in the Toronto area. This position is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment, performing preventative maintenance tasks, and ensuring the efficient operation of the production facility.
Key Responsibilities:
– Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment, including motors, conveyors, and PLC systems
– Perform preventative maintenance tasks on a regular basis to ensure equipment reliability
– Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repair activities
– Respond to emergency maintenance calls and assist with troubleshooting and repairs as needed
– Assist with equipment installations and upgrades as required
– Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent required
– 3+ years of experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance in a manufacturing environment
– Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and mechanical equipment
– Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
– Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
– Strong communication and teamwork abilities
