The opportunity is to work as a Project Manager for a well-known Canadian builder. The role involves developing, preparing, and maintaining detailed project schedules in collaboration with senior members of the team.
**Internal Audit Manager**

– Exciting opportunity for a talented Internal Audit Manager to join a well-established and growing organization
– Lead and manage the internal audit function, providing independent and objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve the organization’s operations
– Plan and execute operational, financial, and compliance audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and make recommendations for improvement
– Develop and maintain the annual internal audit plan, ensuring coverage of key risks and areas of concern
– Liaise with senior management and other stakeholders to communicate audit findings and recommendations
– Oversee the performance of the audit team and provide guidance and support as needed
– Keep abreast of industry developments and best practices in internal audit, governance, and risk management
– Conduct special investigations as necessary and provide support for external audit processes
– Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
– Foster a culture of continuous improvement and strong ethical behavior within the organization
– Provide training and development opportunities for internal audit staff and promote a positive and collaborative working environment for the team

**Qualifications and Skills:**

– Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA, CIA, or other relevant certification preferred
– Minimum of 5 years of internal audit experience, including supervisory responsibilities
– Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks, risk management, and audit methodologies
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
– Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
– Proven leadership and project management capabilities
– Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
– Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office applications
– Commitment to upholding high ethical standards and promoting a culture of integrity within the organization
