What is the opportunity?

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of RBC Bank (U.S.) marketing campaigns. This role will report into the Senior Marketing Manager, Real Estate Financing and may occasionally be assigned to support other Marketing Leads on the team on an ad-hoc basis.

What will you do?

  • Support Marketing Leads with execution of marketing campaigns in various mediums including but not limited to digital, social media, broadcast, print, in-branch etc.
  • This involves working collaboratively with creative teams / agency partners to implement creative feedback and revisions by communicating clear and concrete feedback
  • Ensure creative assets are delivered on time and are ready for in-market dates as planned
  • Support marketing leads with new test & learns, virtual advice events, engagement marketing, content development, client communications, experiential events
  • Conduct compliance reviews on marketing materials – this involves meticulous proofreading of ad content and legal disclosures
  • Contribute valuable insights to brainstorms and ideation
  • Timely updates of status reports using project management platforms (Lean Kit) times

What will you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • Completed 2 years of post-secondary studies, with a focus on marketing, communications, or business
  • Ability to adapt and learn and apply concepts and processes quickly
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent collaboration and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, including time-management
  • Curiosity and openness to trying new concepts, balanced with executional excellence
  • Can apply basic marketing principles and has a client-first mindset when evaluating creative
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)

Nice to have:

  • Has interned in a marketing or communications role previously
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and ad formats
