Job Description
Position: Junior Financial Analyst
Location: Toronto, ON
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Financial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the senior financial analysts to perform financial forecasting, reporting, and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles and practices, excellent Excel skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
– Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
– Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations
– Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis for senior management
– Assist in month-end and year-end close processes
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
– 1-2 years of experience in finance or accounting
– Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
