Warehouse Labourer
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Warehouse Labourer to join our team. The Warehouse Labourer will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse, as well as maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, demonstrate excellent organizational skills, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
– Receive and process incoming stock and materials
– Pick and fill orders from stock
– Pack and ship orders
– Organize and retrieve stock in the warehouse
– Perform general warehouse tasks as needed
– Keep the warehouse clean and organized
– Comply with all warehouse procedures and regulations
– Operate and maintain warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner
– Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Previous warehouse experience is an asset
– Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
– Strong attention to detail
– Excellent organizational and time management skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
– Strong communication and teamwork skills
– Basic computer skills
– Valid driver’s license is an asset
