Job description: The opportunityThe Web Publisher and UX Designer will assist in the creation, design, and execution of marketing materials across OTPP digital channels. This role requires abalance of creative thinking, effective time management, and excellent attention to details.This role will support the development and publication of online content for all OTPP digital channels, collaborating closely with all teams within theMarketing & Communications department.Who you’ll work withThe Web Publisher and UX Designer will report to the Manager, Website Channel Management. They will have the ability to work cross-functionally across the OTPP team and integrate with IT and Product Delivery to ensure smooth delivery of projects.What you’ll doAssist in conception, design, and execution of digital design solutions that align to the Teachers’ brand strategy, while delivering on key objectives establishedCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders and support on digital design and publishing tasks including but not limiting to website and intranet landing pages, site maps, user flow and wireframes, mobile layouts, new component libraries, email, and newsletter designs, organic and paid social posts, video publishing, digital signages, and screensaversDevelop and publish pages using the existing AEM component library, ensuring all content aligns with OTPP’s brand and UX/UI guidelineFormat, test, and publish content promptly, following editorial review and approval processesCollaborate with the Integrated Planning team, attending weekly content calendar alignment meetings to ensure all content pieces are represented and coordinated for publishingEnsure SEO best practices are followed in content design and execution, including designing UX visuals, subheads, image placement, and copy layoutMonitor website optimization tools to maintain web accessibility and SEO standards by repairing broken links, adding metadata, reorganizing digital assets, and making necessary content and UX correctionsStay current with digital content best practices, including industry standards for web and mobile sites, emerging technologies, UX design techniques, accessibility, and usabilitySupport with documenting functional and design requirements when requiredSupport with uploading and managing authoring guidelines on ConfluenceManage all digital asset libraries to ensure proper taxonomy is followedComplete QA checks to ensure all content are published without errorCollaborate with the IT and Product Delivery team in planning, designing, and implementing new components/templates across OTPP digital channels.
