Job Description

Position: Business Analyst – Edmonton

Location: Edmonton, AB

Duration: Full-time

Our client, a leading organization in the health sector, is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team in Edmonton. This role will involve working closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, define project scopes, and assist with the implementation of various initiatives. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements
– Define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables
– Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules
– Identify potential risks and provide recommendations for mitigation
– Assist with project implementation, including testing and troubleshooting
– Communicate project progress and issues to stakeholders and management
– Provide training and support to end users as needed
– Maintain documentation related to project activities and outcomes

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
– 3+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst in a corporate setting
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
– Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, project management tools, and business analysis software
– Knowledge of health sector operations and regulations is an asset
– PMP or CBAP certification is preferred
