Job Description

Position: Accounts Payable Clerk

Location: Toronto, ON

Salary: $40,000 – $45,000 per year

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and assisting with month-end close processes. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:
– Process incoming invoices and ensure accuracy of data
– Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
– Prepare weekly check runs and electronic payments
– Assist with month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
– Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications:
– 2+ years of accounts payable experience
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy
– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
– Excellent communication and organizational skills
– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
