Carpenter

Location: Toronto, Canada

We are looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. This individual will have experience working with hand and power tools, and possessing knowledge of construction practices and techniques.

Responsibilities:

– Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of the project
– Measure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, and other materials
– Install fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, and countertops
– Build stairs, mantels, and other wooden structures
– Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures
– Collaborate with other team members to complete projects in a timely manner

Requirements:

– Proven experience as a Carpenter
– Knowledge of construction practices and techniques
– Skilled in using hand and power tools
– Strong attention to detail
– Ability to interpret blueprints and diagrams
– Excellent communication and teamwork skills
