Position: Social Worker

People In Need, a non-profit organization in Alameda County, CA, is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping individuals and families facing challenges and in need of support. The Social Worker will provide a wide range of services including counseling, case management, advocacy, and resource referrals.

Responsibilities:
– Conduct assessments to determine clients’ needs and develop appropriate service plans
– Provide individual and group counseling to clients
– Advocate on behalf of clients to ensure they have access to necessary resources and support
– Collaborate with other service providers and agencies to coordinate care for clients
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with agency standards

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work or related field
– Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred
– Experience working with diverse populations and addressing a wide range of social issues
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
