Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Markham, ON

Description:

Our client, a multinational corporation, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their finance team in Markham, ON. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. This individual will also provide support to the finance team in various ad-hoc projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

– Contribute to the development of annual budgets and monthly forecasts
– Analyze financial performance and provide insights to management
– Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior leadership
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial results
– Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements
– Assist with special projects and ad-hoc analyses as needed

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
– CPA designation is an asset
– 5+ years of experience in financial analysis or accounting
– Strong knowledge of financial planning and reporting
– Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling
– Excellent communication and presentation skills
– Ability to work independently and in a team environment
