Position: Personal Support Worker (PSW)

Location: Toronto, ON

Salary: $18 – $22 per hour

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Description:

Our client, a long-term care facility in Toronto, is seeking dedicated Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join their team. The primary responsibilities of the PSW include assisting residents with activities of daily living, providing personal care, and ensuring the comfort and safety of residents.

Responsibilities:

– Provide assistance with tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
– Assist residents with mobility and transfers
– Monitor and record changes in residents’ health and well-being
– Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents
– Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals
– Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required

Qualifications:

– Completion of a recognized PSW program
– Valid CPR and First Aid certification
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Experience working with seniors is an asset
