Job Description

Position: Human Resources Manager

Location: Toronto, ON

Salary: $85,000 – $95,000 per year

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management and be able to execute a variety of tasks with efficiency and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

– Oversee all aspects of the human resources department, including recruitment, training, performance management, and employee relations
– Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
– Conduct regular training sessions for employees on various HR topics, including diversity and inclusion, conflict resolution, and performance management
– Provide support and guidance to managers and employees on all HR-related matters
– Manage employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner, ensuring that all parties are treated fairly and respectfully
– Coordinate with external vendors, such as benefits providers and recruitment agencies, to ensure smooth operations of HR functions
– Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in HR management, and make recommendations for improvement based on this knowledge

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
– 5+ years of experience in HR management
– Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
– High level of attention to detail and accuracy
– SHRM or HRCI certification preferred
