A Developer/Builder in Kelowna, BC is seeking a Senior Project Manager for residential multifamily projects, including highrise and woodframe developments. The position offers a salary range of $130,000-165,000. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing various aspects of development projects.
Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee all aspects of construction projects from beginning to end. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all construction activities on-site. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
– Manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects from start to finish
– Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
– Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines
– Communicate project progress, delays, and changes to stakeholders as needed
– Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications
– Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and RFIs
– Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety
– Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction
– Complete all project close-out activities, including final inspections and client handoff

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management
– Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques
– Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
– Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
– Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office suite
– Experience working on commercial or industrial construction projects is preferred
– PMP certification is a plus
