POSITION TITLE: Quality Control Inspector

LOCATION: Downers Grove, IL

JOB TYPE: Full-time

Arrow Gear Company, a leading manufacturer of high-precision gears for aerospace, automotive, and other industrial applications, is seeking a qualified Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in inspecting machined parts and gear products to ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities:
– Perform dimensional and visual inspections on machined parts and gear products
– Use precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
– Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
– Record inspection results and generate inspection reports
– Identify and communicate quality issues to production team
– Collaborate with engineers and quality assurance team to resolve quality problems
– Assist in the continuous improvement of quality control processes

Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control inspection, preferably in a manufacturing environment
– Proficiency in using precision measuring equipment
– Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
– Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
– Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality management systems is a plus
