Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of the logistics process, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.

Responsibilities:

– Coordinate and schedule shipments with carriers and freight forwarders
– Track and monitor the status of shipments to ensure on-time delivery
– Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding order status and shipping information
– Manage inventory levels and perform regular cycle counts
– Prepare shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading and packing lists
– Provide support to the warehouse team as needed
– Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
– Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings in the logistics process

Qualifications:

– Previous experience in logistics or supply chain management
– Strong organizational and time management skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Proficiency with Microsoft Office and logistics software
– Ability to work independently and in a team environment
– Knowledge of transportation regulations and customs requirements
– Familiarity with inventory management systems and processes
