Position: Cabinet Maker

Location: Markham, ON

Salary: $25 – $35 per hour

Job Description:

Our client, a well-established custom cabinet manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled and experienced Cabinet Maker to join their team in Markham, ON.

Responsibilities:

– Read and interpret blueprints or drawings to determine specifications and requirements
– Measure, cut, and shape wood to build cabinets and furniture
– Assemble and join cabinets using screws, nails, and other fasteners
– Install hardware such as hinges, handles, and drawer slides
– Ensure the quality and accuracy of finished products
– Maintain a clean and organized work area
– Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times
– Collaborate with the team to meet production deadlines and customer requirements

Requirements:

– Minimum 3 years of experience in cabinet making or woodworking
– Proficiency in using woodworking tools and machinery
– Strong knowledge of cabinet construction and installation techniques
– Ability to work independently and in a team environment
– Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
– Good communication and interpersonal skills
– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
