Title: Data Scientist

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Our client, a leading technology company, is seeking a talented and experienced Data Scientist to join their team in Toronto. This role will involve working directly with large-scale data in order to develop innovative solutions and drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize strategic business opportunities
– Design and implement algorithms and models to analyze complex data sets
– Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms
– Translate business problems into technical solutions
– Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
– Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in data science and technology

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, etc.)
– 3+ years of experience in a data science or analytics role
– Strong programming skills in Python or R
– Experience with machine learning and statistical modeling
– Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
– Excellent communication and presentation skills
