Tourism Manager

We have an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Tourism Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing tourism strategies to drive growth and increase visitation to our region.

Key responsibilities include:

– Developing and executing tourism marketing plans and campaigns
– Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders including tourism operators, industry associations, and local government
– Identifying new tourism opportunities and developing innovative tourism products and experiences
– Managing the tourism budget and ensuring all initiatives are delivered on time and within budget
– Monitoring and analyzing tourism trends and visitor feedback to inform decision-making
– Representing the organization at tourism industry events and conferences
– Collaborating with internal teams to promote tourism initiatives and integrate with broader marketing efforts
– Implementing sustainable tourism practices and initiatives

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in tourism management, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to drive tourism initiatives from concept to delivery. A relevant tertiary qualification and knowledge of the local tourism market would be advantageous.
