The opportunity is for a Manager to work in Public Affairs and Community Engagement at a facility located in Toronto. The focus is on building a positive relationship with local communities and ensuring social license to operate. The Manager will report to the Director of Public Affairs.
Accounts Receivable Specialist – Ottawa, ON

Our client, a well-established company in Ottawa, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in accounts receivable, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
– Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
– Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and posting accounts receivable data
– Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits
– Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
– Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues
– Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
– Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status

Requirements:
– Proven working experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist
– Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations
– Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
– Data entry skills, and proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel
– High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
– Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
