Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Test Manager to lead a team of software testers and oversee the testing process for a variety of software applications. The Test Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing testing strategies, managing testing schedules, coordinating with development teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and extensive experience in software testing methodologies and tools.

Responsibilities:

– Develop and implement testing strategies and plans
– Manage a team of software testers, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
– Coordinate with development teams to understand project requirements and timelines
– Create and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans
– Identify and report defects, issues, and risks
– Monitor testing progress and ensure timely completion of testing activities
– Communicate with stakeholders to provide testing updates and status reports
– Implement and maintain testing tools and frameworks
– Continuously improve testing processes and procedures
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
– 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
– 3+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role
– Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
– Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
– Proven ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment
– Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
– Experience with test management tools such as Jira, HP ALM, or similar
– ISTQB or similar certification is a plus
