Job Description

Position: Project Manager

Location: Calgary, AB

Salary: $80,000 – $95,000 per year

A leading construction company in Calgary is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of construction projects from start to finish. This role will involve liaising with clients, managing project budgets and timelines, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets
– Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project deliverables are met
– Manage project procurement, including negotiating contracts and purchasing materials
– Oversee on-site construction activities and provide leadership to site teams
– Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks
– Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and health and safety standards
– Provide regular project updates to senior management and other stakeholders
– Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements

Qualifications:
– 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the construction industry
– Degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
– Proven track record of successfully delivering construction projects on time and within budget
– Strong leadership and communication skills
– Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
– Proficiency in project management software and tools
