Description:

Our client, a leading biotechnology company, is seeking to hire a Research Scientist with experience in drug discovery and development. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research, designing and executing experiments, and providing support for the development of new drugs and therapeutics.

Key responsibilities:

– Design and conduct experiments to identify and validate potential drug targets
– Utilize various molecular and cellular techniques to characterize potential drug candidates
– Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance drug discovery projects
– Analyze and interpret data, and prepare scientific reports and presentations
– Stay updated on the latest developments and technologies in drug discovery and contribute to the improvement of research methodologies
– Maintain accurate records of experiments and contribute to the preparation of regulatory submissions

Requirements:

– Ph.D. in a relevant scientific discipline (pharmacology, biochemistry, molecular biology, etc.)
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in drug discovery, ideally in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company
– Strong knowledge of molecular and cellular biology techniques
– Demonstrated experience in target identification and validation
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills
– Ability to work independently and in a team setting
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
