The Project Manager I at BC Children’s Hospital in Vancouver leads and coordinates all aspects of current projects in the Neonatal Program. They ensure that the deliverables of the projects are met.
Title: Quality Engineer
Location: North Manchester
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000
Job Type: Permanent
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Engineer to provide engineering support to the business, working alongside the production and engineering teams in identifying and implementing quality improvements, monitoring and maintaining quality standards and supporting the delivery of new products to multiple international markets.
Key Responsibilities:
– Identify and implement quality improvements across production processes to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards.
– Monitor and maintain quality standards, conducting regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance.
– Work with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues, providing technical support and advice where necessary.
– Support the delivery of new products to multiple international markets, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
– Proactively identify and implement cost-effective quality improvement initiatives to drive continuous improvement across the business.
– Liaise with suppliers and customers on quality related matters, addressing any issues and driving improvements where necessary.
Key Skills and Experience:
– Degree or equivalent qualification in an engineering or quality related discipline.
– Proven experience working in a quality engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
– Strong understanding of quality management systems and processes.
– Experience leading quality improvement initiatives and driving continuous improvement.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
– Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
