Job Description:

Director of Nursing (DON)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Director of Nursing to lead our nursing department. The Director of Nursing will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of nursing care within the facility, including staffing, budgeting, patient care, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent clinical knowledge, and a proven track record of achieving quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
– Oversee and manage nursing staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels and appropriate skill mix
– Monitor and evaluate patient care outcomes, implementing quality improvement initiatives as needed
– Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of care
– Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients
– Maintain a positive and professional work environment for nursing staff

Qualifications:
– Registered Nurse (RN) with current state licensure
– Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required, Master’s degree preferred
– Minimum of 3 years of nursing leadership experience
– Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
