The Halifax Regional Municipality is seeking a full-time permanent Project Manager for Transit Planning. Reporting to the Supervisor of Transit Planning, they will be responsible for achieving key objectives related to transit planning.
Title: Residential Support Worker

Location: Burnaby, BC

Salary: $21 – $24 per hour

Our client, a residential care facility in Burnaby, is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and assistance to residents in their daily activities, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.

Key responsibilities:

– Assisting residents with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
– Providing emotional support and companionship to residents
– Administering medication as directed by healthcare professionals
– Assisting with meal preparation and feeding
– Participating in recreational activities and outings with residents
– Maintaining a clean and organized living environment
– Communicating effectively with residents, families, and coworkers

Requirements:

– Completion of a relevant post-secondary program (e.g. Social Work, Psychology, Health Care Assistant)
– Previous experience working in a residential care setting is an asset
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills
– Ability to work effectively in a team environment
– Clear Criminal Record Check
