Title: Experienced Veterinary Technician

Location: Burlington, ON

Salary: $18 – $26 per hour

Job Type: Full-time

Our well-established veterinary clinic in Burlington is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a veterinary clinic setting.

Responsibilities:
– Assisting the veterinarian with various medical procedures
– Providing nursing care to hospitalized patients
– Monitoring anesthesia during surgical procedures
– Performing laboratory tests
– Dispensing medications and educating clients on their use
– Maintaining accurate medical records

Requirements:
– Diploma in Veterinary Technology
– Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) designation
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
– Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures
