Senior Cyber Security Analyst

Duties and responsibilities:

– Conduct regular system and network security assessments
– Analyze and respond to security events and incidents
– Develop and implement security policies and procedures
– Monitor and assess security controls and processes
– Collaborate with other teams to ensure compliance with security standards
– Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging threats
– Investigate security breaches and provide incident response support
– Provide security awareness training to staff and end-users
– Participate in security risk assessments and vulnerability management
– Contribute to the development of security strategies and roadmaps
– Communicate security status and issues to management and stakeholders

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
– 5+ years of experience in cyber security analysis and incident response
– Strong knowledge of security principles, risk management, and compliance frameworks
– Experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, firewall, and intrusion detection systems
– Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
– Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
