Description:
We are seeking a qualified Financial Analyst to join our team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. The Financial Analyst will be expected to conduct financial modeling, analyze investment opportunities, and develop financial forecasts and budgets. Additionally, the candidate will assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations for senior management and external stakeholders. The successful candidate must have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and proficiency in financial software is required.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
– 2+ years of experience in financial analysis or related role
– Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
– Excellent communication and presentation skills
– Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
– Professional certification (CFA, CPA) is a plus
