Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team at a well-established retail store. This individual will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in day-to-day operations, including inventory management, customer service, staff supervision, and maintaining store cleanliness.

Responsibilities:
– Assist in the overall management of the store, including ensuring that sales targets are met, and customer satisfaction goals are achieved
– Help with inventory management, including restocking shelves, managing deliveries, and conducting regular stock checks
– Supervise and train store staff on customer service best practices, product knowledge, and store policies
– Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers, handling inquiries and complaints, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
– Maintain store cleanliness and organization to ensure a safe and inviting shopping environment
– Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling staff, preparing reports, and communicating with head office

Requirements:
– Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in a supervisory or assistant management role
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
– Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
– Knowledge of inventory management and customer service best practices
– Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends, as required
