Job Description: The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of all shipment activities for both domestic and international deliveries. This position will ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers while maintaining compliance with all company and regulatory requirements. The Logistics Coordinator will also manage communication with carriers and customers to address any issues or concerns that may arise.

Responsibilities:
– Coordinate and schedule all inbound and outbound shipments
– Work with carriers to ensure timely pickup and delivery of products
– Manage all customs paperwork for international shipments
– Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery
– Communicate with customers to provide updates on shipment status
– Address any issues or concerns related to shipments or deliveries
– Maintain accurate shipment records and documentation
– Support continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives
– Adhere to all company safety and compliance policies

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field
– 3+ years of experience in logistics coordination or transportation management
– Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations and requirements
– Excellent communication and negotiation skills
– Proficient in Microsoft Office and transportation management software
– Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
– Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
– Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed
– Knowledge of automotive industry logistics is an asset
