Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Description:

We are looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team in Calgary. The main responsibility of this position is to ensure the accurate and timely shipment of products and materials as well as receiving incoming shipments. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

– Receive and count incoming shipments, inspect for damages, and verify contents against purchase orders
– Prepare and ship outgoing packages, ensuring proper packaging and labeling
– Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking information and delivery receipts
– Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to coordinate shipments
– Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock counts and maintaining accurate inventory records
– Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications:

– High school diploma or equivalent
– 1-2 years of experience in shipping and receiving or related field
– Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
– Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
