Job Description

A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a high-energy Operations Supervisor to join our team. The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day activities of the production floor, ensuring that production targets and quality standards are met. This individual will also be responsible for managing a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
– Coordinate production activities to ensure that production targets are met
– Implement and maintain quality control standards
– Manage a team of production workers, providing coaching and support as needed
– Monitor and report on production KPIs and suggest improvements as needed
– Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
– Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production flow
– Identify areas for process improvement and recommend changes as needed
– Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
– Provide input into staffing needs and participate in the hiring process

Qualifications:
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
– Proven track record of successfully managing a team
– Strong leadership and coaching skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
– Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
– Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is an asset
– Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
