Title: Veterinary Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in procedures and surgeries, performing laboratory tests, administering medications, and providing care for animals in our veterinary clinic.

Responsibilities:
– Assist in examinations, procedures, and surgeries
– Perform laboratory tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and cytology
– Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian
– Monitor patients during recovery and provide post-operative care
– Maintain accurate medical records and treatment plans
– Educate clients on proper pet care and preventive health measures

Qualifications:
– Diploma or Degree in Veterinary Technology
– Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification
– Minimum 2 years of experience in a veterinary clinic
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work in a team setting and independently
– Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed
