Position: Highways Inspector

Location: Sheffield

Salary: £28740 – £32632 per year

We are currently seeking a Highways Inspector to join our team in Sheffield.

Key Responsibilities:
– Inspect and report on the physical condition of the highways network in accordance with set programming requirements.
– Undertake safety inspections to identify and diagnose defects and signs of deterioration.
– Respond to customer queries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
– Liaise with other teams and contractors to coordinate maintenance and repairs.
– Record and document findings accurately.

Requirements:
– Previous experience in highways inspection or a related field.
– Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
– Excellent communication skills.
– Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
– Full UK driver’s license.
