Aramark Canada is seeking a General Manager for a higher education institution in the Ottawa region to oversee daily food service operations. The General Manager will report to the District Manager and be responsible for managing and leading the food services team.
Primary Functions:

– Assist with conducting market research to identify potential customers and market trends
– Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and business partners
– Coordinate with the sales team to develop effective marketing strategies and campaigns
– Analyze sales data and trends to identify areas of opportunity and improvement
– Support the marketing team in creating promotional materials and campaigns
– Participate in sales meetings and contribute to the overall sales strategy
– Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on marketing and sales efforts
– Monitor competitor activity and market trends to stay informed and make recommendations for improvement

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
– 2+ years of experience in marketing or sales
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
– Knowledge of market research principles and best practices
– Detail-oriented and organized
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
