Position: Transportation Manager

Location: Vancouver, BC

Salary: $65,000 – $80,000 per year

Our client, a leading logistics company, is currently seeking a Transportation Manager to join their team in Vancouver, BC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all transportation operations within the region, including managing a team of drivers, dispatchers, and other transportation staff.

Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement transportation strategies to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness
– Manage the day-to-day operations of the transportation team, including routing, scheduling, and dispatching
– Monitor driver performance and compliance with company policies and procedures
– Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards
– Analyze transportation data and KPIs to identify areas for improvement
– Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and regulatory agencies
– Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall transportation operations

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
