Position: Social Worker

Location: Ottawa, ON

Job Type: Full-time

Our client is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join their team in Ottawa, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional intervention in a variety of areas including crisis intervention, emotional support, and counseling to individuals and families in need.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
– Conducting thorough assessments to determine the appropriate level of care and support required
– Developing and implementing treatment plans based on individual needs and goals
– Facilitating support groups and workshops
– Collaborating with other professionals and agencies to ensure holistic care for clients
– Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work
– Registered member in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
– Minimum of 2 years of related experience
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
