Job Description

Senior Accountant

Our company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, and reporting. This position will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing monthly financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
– Manage the monthly financial close process
– Prepare and review financial statements
– Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts
– Assist with budgeting and forecasting
– Supervise and mentor junior staff members
– Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants
– Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures
– Provide support for special projects and initiatives as needed

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
– CPA designation preferred
– 5+ years of experience in accounting and financial analysis
– Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
