The Assistant Project Manager – Supply Chain plays a crucial role in supporting supply chain operations by collaborating with specialists and other internal teams to ensure the success of projects.
Position: Production Supervisor
Location: Montreal, Quebec
Our manufacturing company is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee our team of production workers and ensure that manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the daily activities of production workers, monitoring production schedules, ensuring quality control standards are met, and implementing procedures to increase productivity and reduce waste.
Responsibilities:
– Supervise a team of production workers to ensure that daily production targets are met
– Monitor production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet customer requirements
– Implement and enforce quality control standards to ensure that products meet company specifications
– Identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the production process
– Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and safety protocols
– Collaborate with other departments to improve overall production efficiency
– Maintain documentation and records of production activities
Requirements:
– Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory role
– Strong leadership and communication skills
– Knowledge of production processes and techniques
– Ability to problem-solve and make decisions quickly
– Experience with quality control procedures
– Familiarity with health and safety regulations
– Strong organizational skills
