Our client, a well-respected civil engineering firm, is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team in Vancouver, BC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and leading various civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

– Manage and lead a team of civil engineers and technical staff
– Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
– Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications
– Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure projects are progressing according to plan
– Provide technical expertise and guidance on complex civil engineering issues
– Assist in business development and client management efforts
– Ensure all projects adhere to safety and environmental regulations

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, P.Eng designation is preferred
– Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on urban infrastructure projects

– Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software
